I've Been Thinking About You - Londonbeat

Londonbeat é uma banda multirracial de R&B e dance music, que emplacou um grande número de hits e músicas pop no início dos anos noventa. Sua carreira iniciou-se na Holanda onde o hit “There’s A Beat Going On” ficou entre as dez mais tocadas, dando-se atenção especial para “9 A.M.”, o qual na seqüência, tornou-se um relativo sucesso no Reino Unido.
Eles são mais conhecidos pela sua canção “I’ve Been Thinking About You”, a qual foi o hit número 1 no HOT 100 e nas paradas do HOT DANCE MUSIC/CLUB PLAY em 1991 e por suas harmonias fechadas, por seus integrantes e Willy , tocando todos os instrumentos.
Os integrantes da banda incluem os americanos Jimmy Helms e George Handler com Jimmy Chambers de Trinidad Tobago e o multi instrumentista Willy M.
Sua próxima música, “A Better Love” alcançou o 20º lugar no HOT 100, e eles voltaram em 1º, na categoria dance, com “Come Back” (62ª posição no HOT 100).
Em 1995, o Londonbeat participou da quente competição de música Eurovision da Inglaterra com “I'm Just Your Puppet on a ... (String)”, porém eles não foram classificados para a competição principal (perdendo para o grupo de rap Love City Groove) e a canção ficou em 55º.
Em 2003 o Londonbeat se reestruturou com uma nova linha e assinou com o selo da gravadora alemã Coconut. Um álbum chamado “Back In The Hi-Life”, caracterizando regravações de “A Better Love” e “I’ve Been Thinking About You” entre novas faixas.
